VCF West logo revealed

Vintage Computer Festival West hasn’t happened since 2007, so we decided to represent next month’s event with a phoenix rising from the magic smoke of a sacrificial vintage computer. 🙂  It’s awesome!

See the Celebration Apple-1 at VCF West

Our friends at CharityBuzz are auctioning what may be the rarest Apple-1 computer in existence. This is an amazing find! It will be on display at Vintage Computer Festival West next month. Come see it for yourself.

Was MS-DOS code copied from CP/M?

Bob Zeidman, a prominent forensic software engineer, found in 2012 that Microsoft’s early versions of MS-DOS did not contain any CP/M code. Microsoft then released DOS source in 2014. Zeidman decided to look again and will announce his findings at Vintage Computer Festival West. Discuss it here.

VCF West exhibit registration deadline

VCF West is Aug. 6-7 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. There are 25 exhibitors so far. Click here to add to that total! The deadline is this Friday at midnight.
