Some advice from experienced Exhibitors:
- Good visuals is the best way to communicate.
- Have easily read printed material for the attendees (like a 15 point font)
- Be prepared to converse with visitors.
- Bring some water to stay hydrated.
- Find out what food options are available on campus
- Visitors may want your contact info. Determine what you are comfortable sharing and make it easy to share (cards, a QR code, etc.)
- Saturday is the busiest day so it can get very loud.
- Sunday has less attendees and not nearly as loud.
- If you need power, bring some cords for it.
- If your exhibit uses an external display, bigger is better, within reason.
- Get a buddy to help with your exhibit so you can take break
- Don’t assume folks know anything about your topic.
